We have now received more guidance from the RCVS and BVA about the services we should be providing during this national lockdown. We are not returning to the emergency treatment only as we did at the beginning of the covid outbreak but we need to delay certain non essential/ urgent procedures to avoid unnecessary travel and contact between people.

This means;

– We will be delaying routine booster vaccinations until April – there is a 3 month period after the due date of a booster vaccination before it lapses.
– Neutering of dogs will be delayed until April.
– Flea and worm treatments will be posted out rather than being collected from the surgery (this will be free of charge for pets on the pet health club but there will be a charge for those who are not).

First and second vaccinations, first year dog and cat booster vaccinations and rabbit vaccinations will continue. Cat and rabbit neutering’s are continuing if the animal is at risk of becoming pregnant.

If you have an appointment already booked which will be affected by these changes and please wait to be contacted by a member of our team in the next 1-3 days.

We thank you for your continued support and understanding during this difficult time. Hopefully we can return to some form of normality soon!
