About Nurse Clinics
Here at Shearbridge we are immensely proud to have qualified Veterinary Nurses who work as part of the overall team to care for you and your pet.
Not everyone is aware about the training and exams that are undertaken to become qualified, but this means they are highly skilled in many aspects of pet care. Behind the scenes, nurses assist the vets with procedures, giving medications and most importantly caring for the pets entrusted to our care but they also like to be seen which is why we offer appointments with our nurses!
You can book an appointment with one of the nurses for many different things from 2nd Vaccinations, nail clips, emptying anal glands, weight management and monitoring, dental care, checks following operations as well as having time to answer any life-style care questions you may have.
If you would like to know more about what the nursing team can offer you and your pet, please get in-touch or take a look at the Puppy Party, Teenage and Senior pet care tabs.
Can I see a nurse if my pet is unwell?
Nurses are not able to diagnose or dispense medication so if you believe your pet has an illness or other health problem, you will need to book an appointment with the vet
