Senior Clinic

When your pet reaches 8 years of age you will be invited to attend a Senior Wellness appointment, with Sarah our qualified senior pet nurse. Sarah has completed training in senior pet care since qualifying in 2010 and more recently a certificate in feline nursing. Sarah is supported by the nursing team who allow more appointment flexibility.

Each appointment has a dedicated 30 minute time slot and appointments are available various days and times of the week. Your appointment can be booked at the same time as the annual booster vaccination with the vet. The first consultation including urine assessment is free, follow up ones are £15. The consultation is an individual experience focused on the requirements and needs of you and your pet in a friendly and relaxed environment. It will include blood pressure measurement and urine testing, please bring a urine sample along to your appointment. Other areas that may be discussed include weight, diet, dental hygiene, mobility, behaviour, senile changes, parasite treatment and lumps or bumps.

Age is not a disease but with many age-related conditions early diagnosis can be better supported with the possibility of slowing down the progression of certain symptoms.
